A .22 BARREL-COCKING AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'SERVICE MKII', serial no. S12670,
circa 1938, with blued 25 1/2in. detachable barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight (elevating wheel absent), bolt handled barrel locking catch, blued air-chamber with model details and five lines of patents, maker's details to the trigger unit, no provision for safety-catch, folding peep-sight at wrist, semi saw-handled walnut butt with chequered grip, horn heel-plate and a strong amount of original finish
